<p style="font-family:verdana,arial,sans-serif;font-size:10px;"><a href="http://www.quackit.com/html/codes/html_scroll_box.cfm">HTML scrollbox</a></p></center>

I got an award from Joy at Pizza Cakes Pies Oh My and so I am paying it forward by giving her a click-able link that matches her theme with the scroll box below that I got the code from Quakit a great little HTML resource site that is way user friendly.  Click the Ruby Slippers and go there and find out about her toe, tattoos and some other things about her. I also was dying to transform the "Attack of the 50 ft Woman" into a before and after, but I themed my transformations for my blog in the 1920's. Mostly because most of the pics they are ultra skinny and so I imagined a Flapper world where they had to diet. Since Joy is into the 1950's I used it as an excuse to transform that giant woman. LOL Attack of the 50 ft Woman (also a song by The Tubes) was from 1958!

Rules :
  • Thank the person who gave you this award, and link back to them in your post: I  put the HTML to that cool animated badge I made for her below the image it is highlighted.
  • Tell us 10 things about yourself.
  • Nominate bloggers.

    10 things about me!
    1. I am a widow of a Vietnam Vet retired.. He was my ex, but we never got divorced so when he died it defaulted to me, but he knew that because I was the mother of his children.
    2. I have 13 tattoos starting with toe monogram and stoner dot one done with needle and thread in 1979.
    3. Served 6 years in the USAF reserves.
    4. Been to jail over a 20 dollar ticket I refused to pay.
    5. I am what they call a two bit. Quarter filipino.
    6. My favorite Sci Fi series is the New Battlestar Galactica and that is all time over all the Star Treks.
    7. I am a nut over illustration and animation. Right now following an Anime called Claymore. I love all type of animation and wished that Stan Lee was my daddy.
    8. My favorite flavor ice cream is Spumoni.
    9. I play the blues harp not too bad. I can imitate some familiar harp solos in rock and roll.
    10. My mom was a war child saved by the famous 6th Infantry Battalion in 1945. You might of saw the movie "The Great Raid" made in 2005 about it. She remembers the names. She was only 11 and my cousin was 3 when they all were there to save them. I blogged the story for Dona Nobis Pacem - Blog Blast For Peace 2010 [here] on another blog I do that is a bit out there, but I call it a digital memory of my soul. My mom is now 82 yrs old and lives in Palm Springs where the movie stars retire (she is an elegant woman they nicknamed POO (Pearl Of The Orient)).
    Blogs I nominate:

Because this logo is truly adorable. And her marquee sliders for images are so clean and perfectly cut.

Because Bouncin' Barb is truly an adorable soul. If she lived in town, I'd go there to hang out. And this might be one award she has not already received. LOL Because it is just not me that regards her so.

And I am a sucker for blog design and I really like this one. I made a badge for you to click and go there. I like how the pink frame is part of the background and the body of the blog scrolls within it! Jade Angel did a great job on it! If you want the code, I highlighted it below.

    <a href="http://caramelsunsets.blogspot.com/"target = "_blank" ><img src="http://i289.photobucket.com/albums/ll239/bluezy_susie/CARAMELSUNSETS-1.jpg" /></a>

Although I am not nominating this next linkable picture, I wanted to share it.
I really like this blog background and art blog that I just happened upon:

I almost formatted my blog using one of the backgrounds, but I didn't want to do all the html editing to fit it to my current blog right now. Because I changed the dimensions of the Blogger template I am using, I just can't do the simple add that is explained on this blog to use one of the extraordiinary templates right off.

It was a hectic day. Baby shower and barbecue following. I ate my diet Shiritaki and just was present for the BBQ.  I had to rush job all my data and this blog post.
It is looking good. I peeked and weighed again, but tomorrow morning is another day. I was hoping to shed just one more pound.  So changed my mind on Slimmer For Summer, I will weigh in on Monday morning and hope that extra pound goes off by then.

    4. Now this makes me feel better. Reading my comments.
I woke up with some guilt issues dealing with my choice to shove 2 hot dogs and 5 pastrami and a cheese stick in my mouth around 10 pm last night. The good thing is that it was low carb. The bad thing is that it was processed and full of salt. Feeling the bloat already. Total calories about 400. Damn. Then there was an open bag of cheetos and a cake in the kitchen. I left it alone...but...it made me sad in the morning. Got to get the bra on and face the day. Funny how routines are and go virtually not noticed by yourself until the dog starts jumping around towards the door because I put my bra on and brushed my hair. And the grand kids do it, too. I guess I lounge around unharnessed and with wild haired enough to make it seem like that is the mode of the day when I stay home. Now I am happier.
Yeah I am a geek I play around with animated gif and deface pics to make them weird. When I saw the ruby slippers had been done, I thought Joy needed those on her blog so I changed the words around in an existing one (it just flashed Home on it) and there are a few. Everybody loves The Wizard of Oz...I think.
