Do we really live in a shallow world ? I would ask those men that would they feel good to be dumped on over weight issues if maybe it is more understanding for penis size or erectile disfunction or more human like what if he gets in a car accident, bumps his head and is not right after that. Dump him?
A 2010 low budget Horror comedy movie with Clint Howard and Michael Paré. I loved Michael Paré in "Eddie and the Cruisers" and of course "The Philadelphia Experiment". [source]

ReplyDeleteglad you're back on track..........(oh my i'm substituting back on track for back in black in my head! LOLOL) have a GREAT weekend sweetie! xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxo
Those articles seriously depress me. I get it: no one wants a fat partner...but...really? A whole magazine article devoted to getting your girlfriend to lose weight?!
ReplyDeleteI don't think I've ever seen a mag article about how to get your "guy to lose his gut" before. Though...now that you've pointed those articles out...I'm sure there is one.
I hate humanity. I really do. :(
Luckily, I married a guy who likes "thick girls." And he doesn't just say that either. ;)
I would hate to hear what they would say if they had overweight daughters or the attitude they pass on to their sons. Those negative attitudes can lead to some pretty serious issues.
ReplyDeleteCarbie girl? LOL I'll have to check it out!
I agree with Chubby. Those articles ARE depressing. It's not like, "How to get your girl to be nicer, kinder, gentler, more compassionate."No, it's the WEIGHT pre-nup, not the BITCH PRE-NUP.
ReplyDeleteMy hubby is NOT a chubby chaser. He's never shown any leaning towards big gals. He married me, I got big. He loves me, he loves me big. Small. In between. He's never been negative about my fat, not even at 300 lbs. He always said I was beautiful.
I assume that's called..LOVE. You love the person, and the package can be damaged, but you love THE PERSON.
The men whose main focus is having a hot skinny wife, well, that marriage is likely not gonna last. Those guys have their eye on the wrong thing. It's nice to have something lovely to look at, no question. we all appreciate beauty...or movie stars and idols wouldn't be who they are. But a marriage/relationship takes a lot more than "pretty" and "slim". A lot more. And joy ain't dependenton THAT.
Some folks are just stupid. ; )
I like Thin Madonna better. The other one looks like she's got mumps. hahahah
I liked the Avatar anime. Didn't see the flick. Let's all transform, huh? :D
Oh, and a quibble. Madonna was not chunky. I mean, I was in my 20s when M came on the scene and she was always pretty and shapely. She simply used to have more flesh on her and less muscle in the beginning. A bit more tummy roundness. But chunky? Not likely.
ReplyDeleteNo one on ask men.com must know what love is. I am thankful that my love was hear the violins and cry at the train station kind of love.
ReplyDeleteGlad you're feeling better. I must confess that I have never liked Madonna. She's got some decent songs but I just don't like watching her.
ReplyDeleteAww, thanks for the shout out! I was wondering how I went from single digit followers to double so quick lol I have read a few of those "how to tell her she's getting fat" articles and I'm always left without words. Its also not just men though.. i had a friend who was just as overweight as I am who simply says she's not attracted to overweight men & refuses to befriend them. I understand having "preferences" but to close your mind off to even getting to know people (let alone date them). Well that speaks a lot more about that persons insecurities than they think.
